Life force
There is a vitality, a life force, an energy. . .that is translated through you into action. And because there is only one of you in all time, this expression is unique. If you block it, it will never exist. . . It is not your business to determine how good it is. . . It is your business to keep it yours clearly and directly, to keep the channel open.

With the growing discrepancy between rich and poor we are witnessing more privilege in action. While privilege is typically enjoyed by rich, white males it is also shared with wealthy, white females, moneyed, people of color and all those born into the ruling class. But those with the majority of privilege in the U.S. tend to be rich, white males, often evidenced by their right to vociferously deny that they having any

Join Graham Nash, Bonnie Raitt, and Jackson Browne in asking your representative to NOT give the atomic industry the 36 billion it must get in federal loan guarantees. I don't believe Medicare, food programs and shelter for the needy qualify for these same government loans.  Japan and Germany are actively ending their use of atomic power. We ask that you contact the White House and your Senators and US Representatives as often and forcefully as you can. You can do that through the US government site or through the NIRS Action Alert linked through

We must scrap the failed atomic power experiment, and embrace the green-powered future we need to survive and hopefully thrive. Please contact your senators before June 2nd.

This is the new image used by the always obnoxious advertiser, Calvin Klein. Why do people buy into their spread of hate? Contact the company and tell them you are joining a boycott of their products. They have proven to be one of the most horrific advertisers over many decades. Let's work together to pressure companies to use images that promote dignity and humanity for all.

Sanela Diana Jenkins, CEO of Neuro Drinks, is well-known for her great philanthropic work. She funds hospitals, schools and orphanages in her former home in Bosnia. Unfortunately she is also pushing negative ads about women to hawk her flavored water drink to fund her philanthropy.

Please ask Sanela Diana Jenkins to consider a new advertising department for her drinks. Ask Ms. Jenkins why she has chosen to use such a negative message that encourages solipsism, in a world where looking out for one another is more important than ever. We need fewer sexualized, headless females who think only of themselves. She must know more than many, having fled a war torn nation and losing her brother to the Serbian war, about how important it is to be part of the solution rather than add to the misery. Contact her through the Neuro website or by email Sanela Diana Jenkins Human Rights Project at UCLA. Telephone: (310) 267-2064

Dorothy Parvas recounts her experiences while detained in Syria and Iran.

"I was standing in two fist-sized pools of smeared, sticky blood, trying to sort out why there were seven angry Syrians yelling at me. Only one of them - who I came to know as Mr Shut Up during my three days in a detention center, where so many Syrians 'disappeared' are being kept - spoke English."
